Soyeon, a jewelry maker and metalsmith based in Los Angeles, holding a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She currently teaches Metals and Jewelry at California State University, Fullerton, alongside maintaining her own studio. Soyeon’s work is influenced by her interest in material culture and her desire to reassess and transform values that are traditionally considered intrinsic.
