Hunting
My artistic exploration centers on pre-owned items from thrift culture, particularly stuffed toys. I'm fascinated by their unknown histories and evolving values. Through regular 'hunting' expeditions in local thrift stores, I collect discarded plushies, often featuring cartoon characters or mythical creatures. Using these as my medium, I experiment with their forms, colors, and meanings, transforming them into wearable art and jewelry. This process not only examines the nature of ownership and value but also playfully delves into the silent life journeys of inanimate objects. My work invites viewers to reconsider the emotional significance of everyday items, reflecting on how objects accumulate and shed meaning over time
