Urbanity Series :

Urbanity Series explores the relationship between artificial urban landscapes and resilient life forms. Each piece is a sponge-textured porcelain block, glazed and enhanced with copper oxides and 24kt gold luster, resembling concrete bricks that dominate cityscapes. I incorporate elements representing nature's presence in urban environments. Blue and metallic stains symbolize mosses thriving in damp, porous spaces. This juxtaposition highlights often-overlooked life emerging within seemingly inhospitable terrain. Through this series, I aim to draw attention to the beauty of life adapting and flourishing amidst our cities' hard surfaces, creating a dialogue between the constructed and the organic
